Glassflake Ltd are delighted to announce a renewal of ISO 9001:2015 accreditation, covering all Moonshine materials. ISO 9001 sets out the criteria for a quality management system. This standard is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach and continual improvement. ISO 9001 is a globally recognised accreditation, used cross-sector to give customers confidence in their supplier’s management system. Glassflake Ltd’s ISO 9001:2015 audit was carried out in March 2021, reviewing all facets of the QMS
‘Our accreditation to the ISO 9001 standard is testament to the processes that we have in place,’ said Sarah Ross, Quality & Regulatory Manager. ‘These ensure that all work is carried out in a uniform fashion and to a high standard. To achieve reaccreditation demonstrates that improvement plans formulated in our last audit have been successful.’
‘The external audit process gives our customers and partners confidence that quality is at the heart of how we operate,’ added Joshua Hayes, Business Development Manager. ‘The continual improvement plans that are in place and have now been ratified, confirm our commitment to enhancing the products and services we offer. This is especially important now more than ever in demonstrating our steadfastness in altering the sustainability of our processes and products.‘
