The Ultra Effect series comprises eight single-color effect pigments, six of which are coated with organic colorants and dyes to produce bright blue, yellow, and hot pink pigments. The two grey pigments display a dazzling silver color without using pure silver or aluminum in the coatings.
The pigments within the Ultra Effect Series use a range of inorganic colourants to give a greater vibrancy and enhanced chroma to the perceived colour. These colourants also result in improved opacity of the pigments. With many of these, the colourant is complimentary to the interference colour. Further grades are added annually to meet the demands of market influencers in coatings, inks and personal care.
